Merum Winery was founded by Dezső Farkas and his family in Tállya in 2015, in a nearly 300-year-old heritage building. Our 2.4 hectares of vineyards are located on the Darnó part of the Hosszú Hill near Sárospatak, on andesite rubble loam soil with a south-southwest exposure, as well as in the Pipiske vineyard of Tállya, which features rhyolite tuff forest soil. Following a philosophy free from extremes, we produce 20–40 hectoliters annually of dry, semi-dry, and late-harvest wines. Our winery also offers guest rooms, and we support our visitors’ active relaxation with guided e-bike vineyard and thematic tours.
