Tállya – the geometric center of Europe. This installation, designed as both a viewpoint and a symbolic compass, highlights that status. Positioned where the old road meets the new bypass, the structure offers directional hints – showing where other European towns claiming the “geometric center” title are located. If you sit in the TÁLLYOLÓ, it reveals — through subtle textual inserts — the directions to other towns that have also claimed the title of geometric center of Europe. Thanks to its location, the structure symbolically “connects” the village back to the road network.
